To bring the TMP 2 down to 400 grams, Sherwood has used some serious material firepower. The shaft is made from Pyro Fil’s Black Line 25K spread tow carbon fiber, which is typically only used in elite-level sticks. While this reduces weight, it also makes the puck’s velocity transfer easier and more efficient, making it feel like it’s being thrown harder than before.

With more energy being transferred through the blade, Sherwood needed to make sure the bottom half of the TMP 2 could handle it. The new VR92 blade with I92 reinforcement technology creates a much stiffer torsional core that stays perpendicular to the target during powerful shots for precision. Meanwhile, a damping layer on the blade face makes it easier to control the stick and catch passes as the puck sticks to the blade like glue.
