The new Bauer Vapor YTH hockey stick is perfect for players who are just starting out and looking to develop and improve their skills. Bauer has significantly improved the weight, feel, performance and durability of this line compared to the previous Prodigy series.

One of the exciting offerings in the Bauer Vapor Youth series is the P01 blade pattern. Lifting the puck off the ice and hitting the top shelf is every young player’s dream. Bauer’s P01 bend helps them do just that. Designed not only to help lift the puck, the P01 bend provides a larger area for receiving passes and improves overall puck control.

Stick Flex Profile

. The Bauer Vapor Youth series has a mid-stroke flex profile. This is the standard way for young players to learn to shoot and pass. The stick bends in the middle like a bow, helping to propel the puck forward.

Shaft Construction The shaft

is constructed from a two-piece construction using unidirectional carbon fiber. This means you won’t see the carbon weave like you’ll find in more advanced models, but you’ll still see the lightweight properties of a composite stick.

Stick Construction and Stiffness

Bauer has also equipped this stick with Easy Release technology. This helps young players in their development phase to utilize the flexibility of the stick. The stick is also made from unidirectional carbon fiber, which provides a healthy balance between puck feel and reliable strength.

Graphics

The graphics on the Bauer Vapor Youth feature a nice mix of red with Bauer Volt accent color, as well as a small bump on the blade to highlight the perfect middle. This graphic is present on the Junior, Youth, and Tyke Flex models.

Grip

The Bauer Vapor Youth 20 flex sticks feature a sticky coating for grip. This helps players control their sticks when passing, shooting, and handling.
