The M70, like the rest of the new Rekker line, has a low point of impact. Designed with playmakers in mind, this design provides advantages in high-speed shots, close-to-the-net shots and rebound speed. While the Rekker M70 may not feature all the advanced technology of the M90, it does share the same Dropkick Taper. This tapered design is designed to store energy on the shaft under load, helping to create Sher-Wood's fastest point of impact ever.

Another high-end feature of the Rekker M70 is the Spear Shaft technology.
