The Bauer Power Profile is endowed with 4 points of support, also known as the Quad profile. Each of the 4 zones has its own purpose and is strategically located in places used in different stages of skating. • The first zone is located closer to the sock of the blade. It has a shape that allows you to maximize acceleration. During the start of the run, the player transfers the weight of the body to the toe, a sharp radius of 6 inches is used for better grip on the ice. • The second zone, known as the transition zone, uses a 9-inch radius to help the player transition from acceleration to longer strides. The center of gravity shifts back. • The third zone is high-speed. Radius increased to 11 inches.
