Asymmetrical toe for a better fit All new to the Bauer Supreme Mach 2022 skates is the ability to choose the runners you want to buy with your skates. Over the past couple of years, Bauer has focused on separating the performance characteristics of the Supreme and Vapor skates from the on-ice characteristics and feel of them. New technologies, new materials and different flex points are what set these skates apart. Supreme focuses on power: the bottom of the skate is stiffer to optimize energy transfer, while the top of the skate is softer, providing increased mobility.

To ensure maximum energy transfer, the fourth part is made of 3D Lasted 12K Carbon Curv composite, making this skate 5% lighter than the Ultrasonic. A completely new feature of the Supreme Mach skates is the Active Motion Performance Flex technology. This Facing technology improves the overall flexibility profile of the skate. AMP Flex Facing is a flex zone added between the 2nd and 3rd ears to provide increased forward mobility during the skating step, increasing the skater's range of motion. This combined with the Reflex Tendon Guard allows players to quickly and efficiently generate more power to maximize acceleration and transition zones of the blade.

The Unibody Powerwrap technology in the sole stiffens the bottom of the skate for optimal energy transfer from the load to the explosive mechanics of skating. This, combined with the new Powercoil tongue, helps the player flex and load the skate more efficiently. The Mach includes an improved asymmetric toe.

Bauer found that the previous Supreme asymmetric toe fit tighter than intended, so adjustments needed to be made. This sock design has been improved for maximum comfort. This will reduce the volume of the skate for an improved low-profile fit, while also allowing you to improve push-off with every step. Inside, Bauer has used AeroFoam Pro to provide optimal comfort for the foot and ankle, as well as a Lock-Fit Pro liner and insole to keep your foot dry and locked in throughout the game.
