Over the past few years, Bauer has focused on separating the performance characteristics of the Supreme and Vapor skates in terms of performance and on-ice feel. New technologies, new materials, and different flex points are what will set these skates apart.

The Supreme focuses on power, with the bottom of the skate being stiffer to optimize power transfer, and the top of the skate being softer to provide increased mobility. For maximum power transfer, the quarter shell is made of 3D Lasted 12K Carbon Curv composite, making these skates 5% lighter than the Ultrasonic.

A completely new feature of the Supreme Mach skates is Active Motion Performance Flex technology. This Facing technology improves the overall flex profile of the skate. AMP Flex Facing is a flex zone added between the 2nd and 3rd eyelets to increase forward mobility during the stride, expanding the skater's range of motion. Combined with the Reflex tendon protection, this allows players to quickly and efficiently generate more power, maximizing the acceleration and transition zones of the blade.

The Unibody Powerwrap technology in the outsole makes the bottom of the skate stiffer for optimal energy transfer from loading to explosive skating mechanics. This, combined with the all-new Powercoil tongue, helps the player flex and load the skate more efficiently.

The Mach features an improved asymmetric toe cap. Bauer found that the previous asymmetric toe cap of the Supreme fit tighter than intended, so adjustments had to be made. The design of this toe cap has been improved for comfort right out of the box. It will reduce the volume of the skate for an improved low-profile fit, while also allowing you to improve push-off with every step.

Inside, Bauer has used AeroFoam Pro for optimal comfort for the foot and ankle, along with a Lock-Fit Pro liner and insole to keep your foot dry and locked in throughout the game.
