"Calgary Flames" (Ukrainian: Полумя Калгари, English: Calgary Flames) is a professional ice hockey team from Calgary, Alberta. Founded in 1972 in Atlanta, Georgia, under the name "Atlanta Flames". In 1980, the team moved to Calgary, Alberta.
The team is a member of the Pacific Division, Western Conference, National Hockey League.
